Meet the Warrington rock covers band that grew from Acoustic Outlawz into a full electric live act.
Where it started
2017-ish 2023Before There Was Electricity
Electric Outlawz started life as Acoustic Outlawz.
Wayne Shaw, Jon Montgomerie, Dave Oliver and Chris Mayor spent roughly six years playing the retirement-home circuit together — acoustic, close-up and a long way from the full-band setup they use now.
That changed in 2023 with the arrival of Toby “No Click Required” Ferguson on drums. The sound got bigger, the gigs got louder and the Acoustic Outlawz story moved into its next chapter: Electric Outlawz.

PA & stage lighting.
Electric Outlawz have an extensive PA system and stage lighting setup, giving the band flexibility to bring a complete live sound and lighting package to suitable venues and events across Warrington and the North West. The band also have their own sound engineer, with PA systems, stage lighting and production equipment supplied by our friends at Soundtech PA Hire, with systems suitable for crowds of up to around 500 people.
